this is disgusting and based on shawn's description, devastating to the environment. less environmental degradation has made world headlines.

how do we bump this to the front? can island be assisted with getting evidence, such as water sample analyses?

Well, I have done my bit by pulling the news from YouTube and posting it here. In time more folks will see the truth and we can always write letters to officials bringing these matters to their attention.

maybe some big promotion will get the attention of the dutch - like having people see this degradation, and assuming a vacation in the dutch territory, where north americans drop a lot of money, wouldnt be worth it.

here i go volunteering for something i know i will never get around to ---- but ill check out some websites of greenpeace, or others, to see if they do address/act on environmental warfare anywhere, on behalf of defenseless locals. the way the animal rights people get involved in ANY mistreatment of animals anywhere (they get around, it seems).

I spent a long time in a group whose philosophy was "you think of it, you do it." Hence I am careful about volunteering to do something that I know I really don't want to do.
