We were given two "free" tickets to see Battlefield Earth. Being the warm generous person that I am I let my mate and child have some bonding time while I stayed home. OTOH, they think of me as evil, cold-blooded and cruel for even THINKING that there was anything free about Battlefield Earth. In the end both wanted the two hours of their lives back plus overtime for having to sit through this pile of shit. And the critics agree with them, as in this recent review of the steaming pile.
