Several have expressed concern about retaining anonymity on a forum devoted to anonymity. While forumotion requires that you submit an email address for registration we recommend that you pick a throwaway address with no direct link back to you.
A)
Hotmail -- or as it is now Live.Com -- allows you the option of verifying your identity with another email address or with a security question. If you choose the latter option then there is no direct connection to you. Just be sure you remember what your question / answer combination is.
B)
Mailinator allows you to pick any name you wish as your email address. Specifically our forum service does not permit Mailinator itself, but the alias services are acceptable.
JoeBob has assured me that the only way for outsiders to gain access to any private ISP information requires a court order and even then that does not produce anything more than the area served by that ISP.
The forum's admin staff will never reveal any personal information about you and will do our best to protect you.
